At that time the cheapest computer available from IBM cost over $20,000. I had to hire a very technical individual to run my computer because there was no Microsoft, HP, Dell, or Apple. He was the person that actually constructed my computer for me. Today you can buy a computer for under $1,000 and have all the tools you need to succeed.
